Ensure a profitable book of Habitational Real Estate property insurance business by appropriately evaluating acceptability of risks within delegated authority levels and managing agency and broker relationships.

Responsibilities:

*** Manage a book of business by identifying areas of opportunity for improved growth, profit, and diversification; execute marketing plans to increase market share with preferred brokers.

*** Evaluate businesses applying for insurance such as Apartment Buildings, Hotels, Motels, Hospices, Assisted Living, Condominiums, and other Commercially Managed Habitational Properties.

*** Identify, select, and assess risks to determine premium, policy terms, and conditions.

*** Recommend quality exceptions where appropriate to maximize profitability and meet business plans.

*** Create and present proposals to agents or brokers, obtain approval, and successfully negotiate deals.

*** Develop and maintain successful relationships with Agents and Brokers.
