Edenbrook Wisconsin Rapids promotes and encourages the success of each of its employees and values the individual experience of its guests and their families._*Position: Occupational Therapist**Take advantage of the $10,00 Sign On Bonus!**Edenbrook Wisconsin Rapids* a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!*Primary Job Responsibilities:** To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiates referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.* To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.* To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.* Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)* Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use* Guide and educate family members and caregivers* Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals*Skills:** Proven working experience as occupational therapist* Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy* Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools ( e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)* Valid license to practice occupational therapy* BS degree or greater in occupational therapy*Reasons to join Edenbrook:** Great team environment* Supportive leadership staff* Competitive Wages#INDTHERAPYWork Location: In personby Jobble
