Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 2 Years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Telemetry Competence Job Description: - Work in a medical-surgical unit handling basic medical and surgical patient care. - Manage patient ratios of RN: 1:5-6 during night shifts, based on acuity. - Provide care with adequate PPE provided. - Collaborate with support on the unit including a patient-free charge nurse, LPN support for the entire unit, and centralized telemetry monitoring with a tele tech. - Access to 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapist support. - Utilize EPIC for charting and Alaris for equipment; access medications through Pyxis. - Orientation includes at least one shift to learn the flow. - Free to choose any color for scrubs. This position allows for first-time travelers and promises a supportive working environment with the necessary tools and systems to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
