Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (36 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Competency in telemetry Job Description: - Work in a Medical-Surgical unit handling basic medical and surgical cases - Provide quality patient care with adequate personal protective equipment available - Manage patient ratios of RN: 1:5-6 during night shifts, adjusted based on acuity - Collaborate with a supportive team including patient-free charge nurse, LPN, and receptionist during the day - Utilize centralized telemetry monitoring with a tele tech - Access to 24/7 support from hospitalists and respiratory therapists - Phlebotomy assistance available for peripheral blood draws - Utilize EPIC charting system and Alaris, Pyxis equipment - Participate in at least one shift for orientation to learn the unit flow - Flexibility in scrub color choice Additional Information: First-time travelers are welcome. Orientation hours will be provided.
