Job DescriptionThe Digital Marketing Privacy Specialist ensures
privacy and security of digital information for Sentry and its'
clients as it relates to digital marketing functions, ensuring
compliance with privacy laws and regulations. This role trains
departmental staff on privacy policies and data protections, and
conducts audits of digital marketing activities to identify and
mitigate risk.For this position, Sentry does not offer employment
to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas. What You'll DoAs a Digital
Marketing Privacy Specialist, you will:
- Continue the development, maturation, and management of
Sentry's first party data strategy as relates to digital marketing
activities with oversight from the digital marketing director.
- Collaborate with our privacy and legal teams to create
comprehensive digital privacy policies as it relates to digital
marketing in accordance with legal requirements and industry best
practices.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and ensure compliance with data
protection laws including, but not limited to California Consumer
Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and other
elegant regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments for digital marketing
activities in collaboration with IT and privacy teams regarding
data privacy/security and develop strategies to mitigate identified
risks.
- Educate key internal stakeholders and staff about privacy
policies and data protection responsibilities through training
sessions and awareness programs.
- Partner with internal IT, IS, privacy, and legal teams on
development and maintenance of an incident response plan as relates
to digital marketing activities.
- Assess and manage the privacy and date protection practices of
suppliers and third-party service providers.Additionally, you will:
- Work with IT development teams and marketing to ensure that new
digital marketing assets and processes are designed with privacy in
mind.
- Regularly monitor the effectiveness of privacy practices as
relates to marketing and reports on privacy matters to senior
management.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to
time.What it Takes
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. Digital
Marketing, Information Technology, Law, Cybersecurity or related
field.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (preferred),
Certified Information Privacy Manager (Preferred), CISCO IP
Telephony Design Spec (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and advertising
practices
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issuesWhat You'll
